LEARN, GROW, ACCELERATE, DISRUPT!
You’ve wisely invested in finding the best talent possible and tapping the next generation of leaders to propel your organization forward! Now it’s time to help them get off to the best start possible. Whether your newly appointed leaders are working from the living room or the board room, transitions for those stepping into leadership roles can be especially challenging and actions taken in their initial days and weeks can have an immediate impact on your organization.
Our unique, Off the Curb “Coaching Intensive” for New and Emerging Leaders helps your new leaders hit the ground running! We lend our expertise working with leaders at both Fortune 500’s and start-ups, in industries from film to finance, to help your leaders develop the right mindset, skills, and strategies needed to successfully step into new roles and positively influence and inspire their teams from the get go!
who IS THIS FOR?
Newly promoted and emerging leaders and individual contributors you have identified for potential leadership roles in the future.
how DOES IT WORK?
Our first step is to gain insight into your organization’s unique culture, goals, and challenges so we have a clear picture of your expectations, better understand your values, and learn what traits have made leaders succeed in your organization so far. Next we co-create coaching goals and then work 1-on-1 with your leader as a confidential strategist, thinking partner, and development coach.
Typical coaching program outcomes may include (but are not limited to) helping your leader:
ONE
Establish a strong mindset and set of behaviors as a leader who encourages teamwork, inclusion, and diverse thinking while building trust, approachability, and accountability.
THREE
Balance managerial activities and “reaction leadership,” with “future focused” responsibilities such as strategic planning, goal setting, and culture development.
TWO
Establish early credibility by finding an authentic voice and way to communicate, listen, put operational rituals and practices in place, and set clear individual and team expectations.
FOUR
Learn what it means to “show up” as a leader by establishing a signature style, authenticity, and purpose that align with company values and establish a bridge to the future.
FIVE
Gain greater awareness and insight into the impact empathy, work style, strengths, weaknesses, and gaps can have on others.
SIX
Determine the best way to delegate effectively and “look at the bigger picture” while also balancing the need to “stay in the loop and in the know” on key projects, issues and change initiatives.
SEVEN
Learn the best tools for effectively “getting out in front of” change initiatives and tough business challenges while also striving to understand other points of view, building diversity, and driving positive change, innovation and creativity.
We provide your leaders with prework and self-assessment tools to help pinpoint those areas most in need of development.
A broad array of tools (skills inventories, style assessments etc.) may be used for coaching, and are selected based on the goals and development needs determined in the assessment.
